Moore Construction Service is a closely held LLC. specializing in custom home construction and residential renovation.

Steve Moore, the owner, has been involved in the residential construction business for over 40 years. His hands on experience and extensive knowledge separate him from all others for creating high quality products at a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

Mr. Moore grew up in the home building business. He started framing houses part time and summer jobs at the age of 16. He quickly advanced as he grew to crew foreman and expanded to manage multiple crews by the time he was 20. He started his first remodeling business at the age of 24.

Moore Construction Service was formed in 1990. The company quickly grew to custom home building in the North Georgia area. The company moved it’s operations to the mountain luxury retirement community of Big Canoe, in the North Georgia mountains in 1992.

He became known as the master of placing homes on very difficult lots under extreme building conditions and extremely steep lots. Those challenges and lessons have paid huge benefits to his clients today. Moore Construction Service was awarded the Big Canoe “builder of the year” award in 1995.

In 2001 Steve saw opportunities in the midtown Atlanta and Decatur markets for purchasing older, distressed homes and completely renovating them. He was on the forefront of the incredible push for restored older homes in Decatur, Midtown and Virginia Highlands.
